Sermon: Transform: Acts 9:1-22

The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 12:1-2, “Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” (CSB, emphasis added).

The story of Paul’s conversion is an amazing story the transformation of his life. Paul began as a persecutor of the church set out on a mission of hate, but was transformed by the power of Jesus into a proclaimer of the gospel with a mission to spread God’s love. Jesus radically changed Paul’s life and purpose; He can radically change our lives.

This sermon was presented at First Baptist Church of Mannsville, OK on January 26, 2020.
